and surrounding areas
MSC Security design, install and commission high quality fire alarm systems for residential and commercial clients in Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Barnsley and other local areas.
While our CCTV and intruder alarms are designed to keep you safe from unwanted visitors, there’s no visitor that can cause the same level of potential devastation as a fire. Presenting a threat to both property and lives, fire is both dangerous and difficult to control. Should the worst case scenario occur, the best thing to do is to ensure that you have an early warning sign, allowing you to clear the area and alert the fire service.
For domestic properties, a reliable conventional fire alarm system is a cost-effective solution to ensure your family’s safety – but for a business, a system that’s been specifically tailored to your site may be required to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation.
Our experts will gladly visit your home or company at a time to suit you, talk you through your options and help you to find a system that reflects both your needs and budget. You can call us to arrange a FREE site visit and quotation on 01924 63 50 60 or email us and we’ll call you right back.
We offer a wide range of stringently tested and trusted products and will always work to find the most appropriate fire alarm system to meet your specifications.
As a basic guide, these are the different types of fire alarms available on the market today:
an entry level system, with the capability to link multiple devices in different zones to the same control panel. Most suitable for homes, small offices, nurseries, warehouses, shops and other small commercial premises.
similar to conventional systems, in their ‘zoning’ capabilities, but these systems allow you to put the audio sounders on the detection circuit, which can be more cost-effective than having to wire up additional sounders.
with this more sophisticated system, data is sent over the detection circuit, allowing you to pinpoint the exact location of the detector that’s been triggered. Ideal for larger premises, such as hotels, nursing homes, office blocks and large factories.
these are essentially the same as their analogue, addressable counterparts, but with the benefit of having no wires. This makes them ideal for sites with multiple buildings, where the system needs to be linked together, but where it’s difficult to place and/or conceal wiring.
We can carry out fire alarm system servicing and maintenance work on systems even if not installed by MSC. Pricing subject to FREE survey of your current system.
